Metal slug 7

Metal slug 7 Full Game

Metal Slug 7 is a fun game, and when all is said and done, it's not about what's there being broken or unpolished overall, but what was left out entirely. There are odd little animation issues, and I could have used more variation in the level designs and concepts, but what it really comes down to is that Metal Slug 7 is a one-shot arcade effort, single player only, and a few challenges to try and bulk up the game ever-so-slightly. It's fun, but when you're finished blasting through it in an hour or so (which is how long a first trip through Easy or Normal will take most gamers), there's almost nothing left to see. The touch screen isn't implemented well, be it for touch or as a second display screen, there's no real connectivity from user to user via any online, stat sharing, or the obvious multiplayer, and outside of playing through the game with various members of the six-person cast - each having a slight edge over the other with specific skills - there's no real reason to play this game more than a few times through. It's fun, and if you're a Metal Slug fan I'd encourage you to still pick it up, as it's more from the franchise many of us love to a stalker-like degree, but when you put it up against other offerings on the system Metal Slug 7 comes up seriously short. What's here is fun. What's missing, however, is staying power.

Chicken Invders

Chicken Invders

This hilarious, ridiculous, entertaining game is a takeoff on the classic old Space Invaders game. The one big difference: Instead of shooting down rows of invading space ships, you have to shoot down rows of invading chickens. As you shoot them down they bombard you with their own weapons (drumsticks and eggs in the lower levels, with the addition of chicken feathers at higher levels). Each wave of marauding chickens is increasingly dangerous, and on some levels you also have to fend off asteroids and giant monster chickens.
This throwback game is as simple as it gets, and that's the whole point. Move your spaceship with the arrow keys, shoot your weapon by pressing the spacebar--that's all you need to know. Everything about the game is entertaining and campy, beginning with Strauss's "Thus Spoke Zarathrustra" theme made famous by 2001: A Space Odyssey and majestic text telling you the back story of the game, much like Star Wars began. This game won't entertain you for an extended amount of time, but when you've got a spare ten minutes, it can't be beat.

Beach head 2000 Full

Beach head 2000 Full

Description:

Beach Head 2000 is a hard core of non-stop action shooter in a 3D photo-realistic and accurate. This game features real-life weapons, realistic physics, Hollywood-like production of high scenic value, and a convincing action. Beach head 2000, you are a lonely turret defending a stretch of beach is under siege. You view the beach in a first-person perspective and aim using the mouse. Your turret is equipped with guided ground-air missiles.

You also have a handgun to use as the ultimate defense. Fortunately, the aircraft make frequent parachuted drops supply of  health. But to get them, you have to hit the drop-package itself.. Beachhead 2000 graphics are OK sometimes, but pretty tough in some respects. The enemy choppers, APCs, landing craft, tanks, and  rendered in 3D with lighting effects in real time - and they actually look decent. The problem is that many units out of nowhere, almost as if the game was to make them late.

The infantry troops do not look nearly as good: The foot soldiers are acceptable, but only from afar as they file on armored landing craft. As they get closer, their choppy animation and 2D scanned photo faces ridicule. Beachhead 2000 gameplay is fast and simple. It plays the same way as the old arcade shooters like Operation Wolf and Terminator 2, only the screen does not scroll in any direction. Levels gradually increase in difficulty until it seems as if they will not get more difficult. After that, you just continue on and earn as many points as you can by shooting the enemies.

You can not really win. The game is aging rapidly, as to the flow of enemies in each level becomes repetitive. Even the enemy units quickly become predictable, such as soil and air units seem to repeat the same maneuvers over and over again. Also, although your inability to move makes sense in the context of the game, it makes the game much less attractive. Beachhead 2000 is not horrible, but it's not ambitious at all. It has moments that can be satisfactory, and the gameplay is fast and easy to learn. If you are a casual game player looking to release a little steam in an environment of World War II, you might enjoy Beachhead 2000 for a little while.
